Creating work for other highly regulated industries, like healthcare.
Financial and bank marketing is highly regulated. But there’s one other category that’s even more heavily regulated… healthcare. From selling healthcare products and developing big ideas and concepts around service lines, to the technical and emotional side around the finer points of the healthcare industry, I’ve navigated healthcare marketing with same success as I have the financial business.
Below, you’ll see some of my favorite work that I’ve helped create. There’s a sizzle reel showing a variety of healthcare work I’ve helped write and execute. Then I have picked some of my most favorite healthcare related video work. You can see more of the full campaigns in this Healthcare Look Book.
Healthcare Sizzle Reel
I helped create the work you see here as part of the healthcare group at Scoppechio and The Ovare Group. I enjoy working on healthcare and thinking of new ways to conceptualize everything from service lines to tapping into the emotional side of the healthcare experience. I also enjoy the technical writing side and diving deep into the details to help explain some of the finer points of the technology and the business.
Baptist Health Cancer Campaign
One of my favorite healthcare campaigns I’ve created is this campaign for Baptist Health’s cancer care. We needed to let people in their area know that they didn’t have to travel to the Cleveland Clinic or across the country to get award-winning cancer care. The concept here used transitions to show that when great cancer care is close by, your family can be close by too. The campaign won numerous awards and greatly increased awareness and patient counts during its run. The main TV spot is here, but the campaign also featured digital, print and outdoor.
Splat Out Cancer
One of my favorite campaigns, this one-of-a-kind project focused on letting people take out their frustrations on cancer by launching paint-filled balloons at the word cancer in a variety of ways. We created a cancer cannon, made slingshots, and used drones to drop balloons to splat out cancer. The initiative raised over $250K for the Baptist Health Foundation. Check out this case study video to learn more then see a snapshot of some of the work below.

Galen College of Nursing
Most nursing schools speak to their great classes and teachers and the quick paths to getting a degree. While we also helped Galen tell this part of their story, we saw a chance to focus on “why” people become nurses - to make a difference in the lives of others. This spot one in a series of videos that helped show the “why” as well as how Galen helps prepare you better than any other school for the real world of nursing.
Women’s Health
While most healthcare work features live action, during COVID, we needed to produce work but were unable to shoot in a hospital due to precautions. We decided to use animation to tell the story of one of our service lines in a compelling way. This spot won numerous awards and also drove an increase in new patients of 133%.
